Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, played with a paddle and a perforated ball. It’s fast-paced, easy to learn, and played on a smaller court — making it more social, less strenuous, and perfect for all ages.

Join us at Ocean Grove Bowling Club for our School Holiday Family Pickleball Sessions - a great opportunity for the whole family to discover one of the world’s fastest-growing sports. Easy to learn and suitable for all ages and abilities, pickleball is the perfect activity for children, parents and grandparents to enjoy together.
Our sessions are relaxed, social and beginner-friendly, with qualified conveners on hand to introduce the basics. No experience is necessary, and all equipment is provided - just bring a smile and have a good time!

We encourage parents and guardians to join in and play alongside their children wherever possible. If you’re unable to participate, your child is still welcome to attend, provided a parent or guardian remains on-site throughout the session. There is plenty of seating available around the club for parents who wish to watch.

OGBC Social Pickleball Round-Robin
Join us every Saturday morning from 9:00am to 11:00am for our OGBC Social Pickleball Round-Robin. These weekly sessions run on a casual, week-to-week basis, so there’s no ongoing commitment. Entry is $5 per player - simply register online before 5:00pm each Friday whenever it suits you.
Each session features 10-minute games in a round robin format, giving everyone the chance to play multiple matches with different partners throughout the morning. It’s a relaxed, social and welcoming environment, perfect for all skill levels. Whether you’re new to the game or looking to improve, it’s a great way to build confidence, stay active and connect with other players in the community.
